Holiday Fitness!

Some of your have asked for some fitness sessions for when you are away on holiday this summer. Assuming you have limited to no equipment. I have put together the following which should keep you ticking over.


Work on interval training. With 1:1 work to rest ratio.


- Set a shuttle run up 15m long

- Every two shuttles complete 5 x one of the below exercises


(Burpees, air squats, press ups, Russian twist or sit ups, lunges)


Complete a 20 minute session. Experiment with different work/ rest lengths. Eg 1 min on 1 min off. 30 seconds on 30 seconds off. 90 seconds on 90 off etc.


During the work section. Give it 100%. Sprint the shuttles and max effort the bodyweight exercise


Alternate


21,15,9


Burpees, air squats, press ups. 21 of each, 15 of each, 9 of each.


1:1 rest. Eg if it takes 3 minutes, rest for 3 minutes after.


Repeat 3 times.
